A. MEMORY VERSE: “The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat”. Proverbs 15:30.
B BIBLE TEXT: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 4:18 (KJV)
C. LESSON INTRODUCTION : Good news can be defined as something that is positive, encouraging, uplifting and desirable. In another concept, it is describe mostly as a message and the type of message which come from our lord. Good news is the message proclaimed by our lord till today, it represents the greatness truth that a Christian can digest. It brings joy to the depressed and it also revives a depressed heart. Genesis 15:30.
THE BENEFITS OF GOOD NEWS
1. It revives the sprit of man Gen 45:27.
2. It heals the brokenhearted prov 15:30.
3. It brings good tidings. Luke 2:10.
4. It brings hope. Colossians. 1:23
5. It brings joy. John. 15:10-12.
6. It brings relief to the spirit, soul and body
7. It brings reconciliation. Colossians 1:22
8. It break barriers. Mark 7:24
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU REJECT GOOD NEWS?
Brethren, Jesus himself is a good news. And so, when you reject him you will:
1. Live in total spiritual blackout. Because good news is the lamp that illuminates your pathways.
2. Live in total ignorance. Because the bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge.
3. You reject good news, then you have rejected everlasting life. John 3:16-17.
4. You reject good news, then you are preventing the river of living water to flow out through you.
CONCLUSIONS: Brethren, good news is my form should be our medicine. So we must embrace it, accept it, live with it, preach it to the orders and use it because rejecting it is as dangerous as digging an early grave for oneself.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Let us thank God for sending his son Jesus to us as a good news.
2. Say, father! As from today, let everything concern my life and my family be good news in Jesus name.
3. Father! Let every center of House fellowship and all RCCG parishes being to hear good news from every part of the world.
4. Let’s us pray to God for the numerical and financial growth of RCCG.
5. Let’s us pray for our Daddy and Mummy G.O. thier ministry and thier family .
6. Personal prayer request.
GOLDEN DIET OF THE WEEK
MONDAY: Be a bearer of the good news. Mark 16:15.
TUESDAY: Pray that you will always hear good news and not the contrary.
WEDNESDAY: Pray that the good news of Christ will have free cause in all the nations of the world. 2Thess 3:1
THURSDAY: intercede for your family that none will reject good news of Christ.
FRIDAY: Luke 2:10, receive good tidings of great joy this day in Jesus name.
SATURDAY: Tell someone about good news of Christ ( gospel) .
SUNDAY: Ester 6:1-10 may someone remember you this day for good.
