OPEN HEAVEN 30 MARCH 2022 WEDNESDAY: HOW TO RETAIN YOUR DOMINION

OPEN HEAVEN 30 MARCH 2022 MEMORIZE: And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22

OPEN HEAVEN 30 MARCH 2022 BIBLE READING PHILIPPIANS 3:10-15

10. That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

11. If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

12. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

13. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

15. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Beloved, you’re welcome. Thank you for joining us in today’s Open Heavens Devotional.

We continue looking into Dominion today.

Do you know that dominion can be lost?, Yes, it can. When God grants you dominion, it is not absolute dominion, it is dominion under God. This means that if you begin to live out of God’s principles, you can walk out of dominion.

What are some of the ways believers lose dominion? Find out in today’s message below.

Don’t keep the word to yourself. Share this blessing with other believers by saving this website (rccgonline.org) and sharing the link by using the share button below. And don’t forget to go through the prayers and declarations of the day.

Today’s Powerful Confession: I confess today, I am conscious of my heavenly heritage and walk in the light of who I am. I am a peculiar treasure unto God and He has separated and ordained me to showcase the beauty of His splendour. I am an answer from God and I was born for such a time as this. I was born as an answer (a solution) to the cry of millions in Jesus name. Amen. Hallelujah!

OPEN HEAVEN 30 MARCH 2022 MESSAGE

One truth that we must embrace as we round off our discussion about dominion is that it can be lost if one is careless, arrogant, disobedient or lawless.

A classic example of someone who had dominion but lost it was the first king of Israel Saul, according to 1 Samuel 15:1-30. He was not only disobedient, but also unrepentant.

He chose to enjoy popularity among the people but this eventually made him lose the desired popularity when Gods grace departed from him. To his face the women of Israel sang that Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands (1 Samuel 18:7).

Dominion attracts fame and popularity; however, if care is not taken, these can make one lose his or her dominion and eventually be left with nothing, thus becoming a shadow of his or her past.

Dominion brings about comfort but comfort when mismanaged can cause one to lose his or her dominion, as in the case of David.

The Bible says that at a time when kings were supposed to have gone to war, David stayed back to enjoy the pleasure of his palace. This was when he saw what he was not supposed to see, fell into a series of sins that brought a curse upon him and caused him to temporarily lose his dominion to his son Absalom.

Thank God that he had a repentant heart and God mercifully restored his dominion to him (2 Samuel 11:15-18). The Bible says: He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth them shall have mercy (Proverbs 28:13).

This might have made David write Psalm 51 which reads: “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Psalms 51:1”, 2 Samuel 12:1-13 tells us of the tender mercies of God when David repented.

Beloved, let us be careful not to lose our dominion. To those who have lost their dominion, the good news is that God is ready to forgive if you would repent and trace your steps back to Him today.

There are people who never lost their dominion. Elisha was one of them (2 Kings 13:14-21). You will never lose your dominion, in the mighty name of Jesus.

OPEN HEAVEN 30 MARCH 2022 HYMN

O WORSHIP THE KING

1. O worship the King,
All glorious above,
O gratefully sing
His power and His love;
Our Shield and Defender,
The Ancient of Days,
Pavilioned in splendour,
And girded with praise.

2. O tell of His might,
O sing of His grace,
Whose robe is the light,
Whose canopy space.
His chariots of wrath
The deep thunder-clouds form,
And dark is His path
On the wings of the storm.

3. Thy bountiful care,
What tongue can recite?
It breathes in the air,
It shines in the light,
It streams from the hills,
It descends to the plain,
And sweetly distils
In the dew and the rain.

4. Frail children of dust,
And feeble as frail;
In Thee do we trust,
Nor find Thee to fail;
Thy mercies, how tender,
How firm to the end,
Our maker, Defender,
Redeemer, and Friend!

5. O measureless Might!
Ineffable Love!
While angels delight
To hymn Thee above,
The humbler creation,
Though feeble their lays,
With true adoration,
Shall lisp to Thy praise.
