Holding Grudges
Holding grudges is a result of lack of self-love, when you are filled with love, grudges can’t be exists in your heart. Love overcomes all bitterness; it keeps you in every relaxed mood. Open Heavens 20 January 2018
To prevent you from the pit of the devil you must be prepared to erase all aspects of grudges in your life. The Lord God who we worship his loving, Jesus Christ preached about love, therefore it is a most that you and I live with love and despise all manners of grudges.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. (Ephesians 4: 31-32)The Lord has given every one of us the knowledge to live a grudge free life, holding grudge is a habit that must not be associated with Christians, because it is part of the characteristic of the devil.
Holding grudges will eventually lead to frustration and loneliness; people will gradually move away from you if you refuse… Open Heavens
I realised that holding grudges against my in-laws was turning me to a bitter woman who was always angry and this in turn caused a lot of quarell between my husband and I, thank God for the Holy Spirit who has helped me to overcome. Despite all the things they still do, though it has reduced a lot, I now have peace because I have decided, by the help of the Holy Spirit to forgive them and focus on God.
Holding grudges is like u imprisoning someone in your heart. The tragedy about this is that you also get stucked in the prison with the fellow….
What an unnecessary pain.. ….

Holding grudges against anyone affects your wellbeing and spirituality. If we decide to be christlike and allow God use us as instruments on earth, we need to let go and let God. I know it is easier said than done but it is very possible. It seems very difficult to let go especially when it is someone we love and hold in high esteem who offended us, but our God is a God of LOVE and FORGIVENESS.
