Today, Lord, we are committing all Your children who have been faithful in the payment of their tithes and in giving of their offerings into Your hands, like never before, bless them.

Even in the time of famine, let them prosper. From now on, let it be easy for them.

Today, even as Your Word is going forth, let the power in Your Word bring healing to Your people. Save souls; set the captives free; glorify Your Holy Name. At the end of it all, let Your Name be glorified. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, we have prayed, Amen!

ANNOUNCEMENT

At long last, Congress is here. This year’s Congress will be the best thing that we have ever seen because God wants to reposition us.

It means if you are poor, God will reposition you so that you can become rich. If you are weak, God will reposition you so that you can become strong.

He is the One who said, “Let the weak say I’m strong. Let the poor say I’m rich”. If you are lagging behind, He is going to reposition you because He is the One who said the last shall become the first.

I can assure you, and I mean I can assure you, all those who have left you behind, you are going to overtake them.

7 The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.

9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

What you become on earth does not depend on your effort.

The elders have a saying, “Struggling does not make you rich. To work like a slave does not mean anything”. I will say it in Yorùba, “Kìràkìtà kò dọlà. Ká ṣiṣẹ́ bí ẹrú kò da nǹkan”.

If you think that is not true, go to the wharf, you will see hefty men offloading bags of cement or rice from the ship from morning till sundown, sweating, at the end of the day, how much are they paid?

How many of the labourers do you find there ever bought a car? Then there is someone who just sits in an office, signs some papers, and has an allowance that is more than a year’s salary of the man who has been sweating.

PRAYER

In the Name of the One who sent me, you will no longer labour in vain.

I know the meaning of 1 Samuel 2:7-9. For the first eighteen years of my life, I had no pair of shoes. My father was so poor that poor people called him a poor man. Yet, by the special grace of God, I have visited the head of state, and he don’t want me to go.

PRAYER

In the Name of my God, in the Name of God who promoted me, you shall be promoted.

ACCELERATED PROMOTION

1. Promotion means lifting us; you are at a place today, and you are at another place tomorrow.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

Ecclesiastes 9:11; the race is not to the swift. That you can run doesn’t mean you will win.

Ecclesiastes 9:11; nor the battle to the strong. That you are strong doesn’t mean you will defeat the enemy.

Ecclesiastes 9:11; neither yet bread to the wise. The fact that you are intelligent doesn’t mean you will have bread to eat.

Ecclesiastes 9:11; nor yet riches to men of understanding. It is not your degree that will determine how wealthy you will become.

PRAYER

In a way that men can not understand, God will promote you.

2. ACCELERATED.

Accelerated simply means rapid, rapid. Mathematically, it means (rapid)². It means fast, fast. It means (fast)².

It tells us that promotion can be in categories.

CATEGORIES OF PROMOTION:

1. Steady promotion.

In Genesis 26: 1-14, Isaac sowed regularly and grew steadily until he became very great.

2. Rapid promotion.

Rapid promotion means steady promotion at a speed.

In 1 Samuel 16: 11-13, David was anointed among his brothers.

In 2 Samuel 2: 1-4, David became the king of Judah.

In 2 Samuel 5: 1-5, David became the king of Israel.

3. Accelerated promotion.

Examples of accelerated promotion:

a. Joshua.

In Joshua 1: 1-9, Joshua moved from being a messenger to a leader of Israel.

PRAYER

Get ready for the kind of promotion that will frighten you in Jesus’ Name.

b. Solomon.

In 1 Kings 1: 1-49, Solomon became a king.

When the Almighty God gives you the kind of promotion that you’re not qualified for, it’s called an accelerated promotion.

PRAYER

Accelerated promotion is coming your way suddenly.

c. Joseph.

In Genesis 41:1-44, God took Joseph from the prison straight to the palace; in a day, the Almighty God moved Joseph from being a prisoner to actually the ruler of Egypt.

PRAYER

As a result of today’s service, all those who say you won’t reach your goal will bow for you very soon.

d. Peter.

The shadow of a failed fisher man healed the sick.

For you to really appreciate the meaning of accelerated promotion, you need to have a rough idea of the opposite – accelerated demotion.

An example of accelerated demotion.

a. In Daniel 4, Nebuchadnezzar was demoted from being a king to an animal. However, God restored him after seven years.

One of the Names of God is the Consuming Fire. No matter how anointed you are, you don’t toy with fire. If you touch fire, it will burn you.

AN ILLUSTRATION

I had a friend, he was brilliant and highly qualified. I saw him and talked to him but he could not recognise me because he had lost his memory.

You need to learn humility.

You need to know that there is a God who can lift up and bring down. You need to realise that it is not by strength that any man prevails. It is not by your ability that you’re still alive today.

Cooperate with God, and He will give you accelerated promotion; resist God, and He can give you accelerated demotion.

ALTAR CALL

If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, I beg you, surrender to Him today. He controls tomorrow, and the Bible says our God is in heaven, and He does as He pleases. You can not determine how He will act. He is a God of mercy, accept His mercy today.

SALVATION PRAYER

Ask the Lord to have mercy on you, save your soul, and help you. Tell Him that you will serve Him from now on.

LET’S INTERCEDE FOR THEM

Let’s stretch our hands towards our people and call on God for them. Lord, please have mercy on Your children.

Save their souls, Lord. Forgive all their sins. Give them a brand new beginning, Lord. Write their names in the Book of Life.

Ancient of Days, i want to thank You for Your Word. I want to thank You for Your Holy Spirit that is here today.

Thank You for Your power that is already manifesting in our midst. Lord, accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name.

Please receive Your children here. Save their souls. Let Your Blood wash them clean. Lord, give them a brand new beginning. As they have decided to surrender to You, please receive them all.

Please Lord God Almighty, as You write their names in the Book of Life, let them become part of Your family.

From now on, anytime they cry unto You, answer them by fire. Lord God Almighty, Your children will be crying unto You today, whatever they ask for, Lord God Almighty, grant to them.

And let this month be a very successful one. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, we have prayed, Amen!

CLOSING PRAYER

My Father and my God, I want to bless Your Holy Name. Thank You for speaking to us today. Thank You for loving us. Thank You because there is no doubt about it that You are a merciful God, please accept our thanks in Jesus’ Name.

If we have done anything at all that could lead us to accelerated demotion, Father, please forgive in Jesus’ Name. If we are guilty of pride in any form whatsoever, Father, please forgive us.

This morning, my Lord and my Saviour, concerning all Your children who will humbly follow You and serve You for the rest of their lives, let the promotion begin. Let their promotion be rapid. Let it be accelerated.

Father, before the end of this year, let all these Your children have testimonies of accelerated promotion. Let it be well with them.

Lord, in Your kingdom, don’t let any of us be missing. Thank You, Almighty God. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, we have prayed. Amen!
