PASTOR E.A. ADEBOYE RECEIVES LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Our Father in the Lord, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has received the Global Impact Lifetime Achievement Award from the Netherlands.
Recall that Daddy Enoch Adejare Adeboye joined the Redemed Christian Church of God in 1973 and served as an interpreter before he was ordained a pastor in the church by Pa. Josiah Akindayomi in 1975. He became General Overseer of the church in 1981. The church which was not well known before Pastor Adeboye became the General Overseer, has branches in about 200 nations as of 2020, including more than 14,000,000 worshipers in Nigeria. Pastor Adeboye has stated that he aims to erect a church within five minutes walking distance in developing cities and five minutes driving distance in developed cities.
In his vote of thanks, the 81 year old cleric who received the award in company of his wife, Pastor Mrs Foluke Adeboye, acknowledged the team of pastors and volunteers that have selflessly worked with him.
His words, “I humbly accept the Global Impact Lifetime Achievement Award at Everyone 23 Amsterdam. I’m grateful for this recognition of my service to God and humanity. I thank Brother Bil Wilson, Empower 21, and Oral Roberts University for this prestigious honor.

“I acknowledge the remarkable team of pastors, ministers, and volunteers who have selflessly worked alongside me. Your passion has driven our collective success.
“I thank the organizers of Everyone 23 Amsterdam for recognizing the impact of faith-based initiatives. Let us be inspired to continue our work for the betterment of society.
“This award reminds us to deepen our commitment to God’s Kingdom, justice, and serving the less privileged.
True impact is measured by lives touched, hope restored, and love demonstrated. I recommit myself to God’s purpose and being a vessel of His grace.
