OPEN HEAVENS WHO SAID WHAT? I-V LESSON OUTLINES

From the 25th of February to 1st of March, we considered the topic WHO SAID WHAT parts 1 to 5 in the Open Heavens Devotional. This topic helped us delve into God’s Word more and understand what it says.

The open heavens devotional by Pastor E.A Adeboye is a huge blessing to the World as countless people across the globe access it daily to learn and be blessed.

On this site, we provide you access to the devotional ahead of time to ensure you do not go a day without the word and prayer. Let us briefly go over the topic of the past 5 days and see what we learned.

WHO SAID WHAT I

And Pharaoh said, Who is the Lord, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the Lord, neither will I let Israel go. Exodus 5.2. Whenever a word is said, the power it carries is highly dependent on the person who said it.

This is why the Word of the Lord is powerful. God is the greatest and most powerful person alive. So, His Word should not be toyed with or challenged. If anyone has said any word over your life, understand that what God says about that situation far supersedes what anyone else has said.

WHO SAID WHAT II

These were more noble than those 1n Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11

God’s word is only really God’s Word when it is undiluted and unadulterated. Sometimes, we listen to “similitudes” of God’s Word but they aren’t really of God. We must become like the men of Thessalonica who always cross checked every word preached to them in scripture to be sure it is the true Word of God.

WHO SAID WHAT III

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth Is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.” – (1 Corinthians 6.18). The word of God is valid through every generation and for very aspect of life.

Are you confused about any area of life? God’s Word has the answer. In this devotional, we considered the subject of sexual relations amongst people that are not married. This is something that has become common in our Word today. But going through the Word of God, the instruction has no changed – FLEE from sexual immorality.

WHO SAID WHAT IV

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

After establishing the fact that established the fact that God’s Word has the wisest perspective for every subject and situation in life because it is the mind of God concerning that subject, we took a look at the subject of death and judgement. This is an area that the world does not want to hear about. But it is very important. God says that every sinner shall be sent into the lake of fire.

WHO SAID WHAT? V

And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 2 Chronicles 20:20

After everything we’ve said about God’s word and its efficacy, failing to believe in this Word will be making it of non effective in our lives. God’s Word when received, believed, and applied, does amazing things.  People who doubt God’s word never enjoy the fruits.

We prophesy to you today that it is well with you, your family, your business and ministry, in Jesus name.

Are you a true believer? Have you received salvation by confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart that Jesus is Lord? Do you live by the principles of God’s Word.

If your answers are no, please give your life to Christ today by saying this simple prayer: Lord Jesus, I come before You today with a broken and contrite heart full of repentance. Please, forgive me all my sins. Today, I surrender my life to You, I believe that Jesus is Lord and I confess it with my mouth. Jesus, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction in hellfire. In Jesus’ name, I pray.

And stay connected to this site as we supply you with daily bread from God’s Word; devotional, prayers, declarations, and other edifying content. God bless you.
