OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 5 JUNE 2024 MESSAGE

The word ‘addiction’ refers to a state of being overly dependent (physically or mentally) on a particular thing.

When a fellow cannot control his or her engagement with something that gives him or her pleasure, then that fellow is addicted to that thing.

Addictions are dangerous because they have the ability to consume a fellow and ruin his or her life.

A teenager who cannot control his or her engagement with social media is addicted to it already.

Some teenagers spend hours chatting, checking their notifications, and meeting people on social media, whereas they spend less time studying their Bibles or reading good books to develop themselves. .

This is one of the reasons I do not subscribe to the use of Bible apps on mobile phones during Bible study (however, you can use it at other times).

This is because various phone notifications can be a distraction for young people who interact with their phones almost throughout the day.

Whatever you cannot control in your life will definitely control you.

The first thing you do when you wake up in the morning will determine the course of your day.
