MESSAGE:
I gave my life to Christ the evening of Sunday 29th of July, 1973.
As I got to my office the next morning, the first person I saw was a senior colleague – Professor Chile Obi. He looked at me and said I was radiating.
Then he asked if it was my birthday. A colleague of mine saw me and asked if I attended a wedding over the weekend.
I replied I did not, bit I just received an invitation to the wedding of the Lamb.
The joy I experienced from becoming born again was so great that people noticed it.
A Professor in the University of Ibadan, Nigeria gave his life to Christ some years back and one day he said he wanted to ask me a question.
I was getting ready for a tough question, being a Professor, but his question was
” I just want to know if it not dangerous to be full of joy all the time, because since I gave my life to Christ I have just been joyful”
I said he should just keep enjoying the joy of the Lord.
Believe me my dear, being born again brings such great joy that it is difficult to describe.
Have you been feeling depressed? Are you been constantly sad? It is time to meet with Christ.
Give your life to Him today and great joy will fill your soul. If you want to give your life to Christ, say the prayer point out loud to Him.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, I recognize that I have been a sinner, I am ready now to stop my sinful ways. Please come into my heart and be my saviour. I promise to never go back to my sinful ways again in Jesus’ name I pray.
