One of the titles of our Lord Jesus Christ is the Truth. According to John 14:6,He is the truth personified. Many times, people mistakenly take facts for the truth.
Facts deal with material evidence, while truth on the other hand is what is it, whether it has been proven or not. For example, if I tell that a caterpillar can fly, you will say am lying.
Though you can’t see its wings now, the truth is , in a short while, it will be flying around as a butterfly.
Our God calls think that be not as though they were. It doesn’t matter what you see today, what God’s word says a about you is the truth.
For example, you might have failed in the last exam that you wrote, but the truth is you are the head and not the tail. One thing about the truth of God’s word is that it only manifests in the lives of those who believe and for it.
Believe what God says about you and walk in its consciousness, and you will see His word come to pass in your life.
KEY POINT:
Believe what the word of God says about you.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Joel 1-3 ; Revelation 4
Hymn 1
1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!
2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm and changeless be,
A living fire!
3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.
4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then, in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul.
And fury of the blast,
As o’er the golden hills
The day advances fast!
The Comforter has come!
3. Lo, the great Kings of Kings,
With healing in His wings,
To every captive soul a full
Deliv’rance brings;
And thro’ the vacant cells
The song of triumph rings;
The Comforter has come!
4. O boundless love divine!
How shall this tongue of mine
To wond’ring mortals tell
The matchless grace divine-
That I, a child of hell,
Should in His image shine?
The Comforter has come!
