OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TEENS THURSDAY 10TH MAY 2018: MINI HELL

MESSAGE:
The presence of an unforgiving spirit releases a type of smell that attracts demons. So,
eventually, the unforgiving fellow becomes an annex of Satan’s evil headquarters. No wonder good things coming the way of such a person are immediately diverted.

Are you holding a grudge against someone? At the end of the day, you are only troubling yourself; you will lose all your joy, peace and
rest. Are you not tormenting yourself instead of the person you are holding the grudge against? Open Heaven 12 May 2018

Stop holding yourself back. Stop living in a mini
hell! Go to that your friend in school that
offended you and make peace, buy something for
that your neighbor that you have been keeping malice with. You will discover great peace when
you do make peace with others.

KEY POINT:
You should forgive, not because you want to, but
because you need to. Without forgiveness, you
cannot access Heaven.

Are you burdened for those that are lost?

  1. I don’t hold grudges against anybody but what if you have forgiven the person in your heart since and the person is the type that will hold grudges and not talk to you but instead he snobs one off?

  2. Good question @JOJO, Though you said you “don’t hold grudges against anybody ” but in case you have forgiven the person you need to let him know, even if the person is the one that offends you, bear in mind the person cannot see your heart if he has been truly forgiven
    “Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord”.
    Hebrews 12:14 (NASB).”Pursue” in this context, could mean, strive to gain, to chase after someone, all effort must be made to win him back with the understanding that harboring hatred could cost him heaven, Galatians 5:19-21. Below are some scriptural advice on what to do

    Matthew 18:15-17 ESV
    “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector

    Titus 3:10
    ” As for a person who stirs up the division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, ”

    Please do according to what the bible says. “Have nothing more to do with him” just be sure all avenue of making peace has been exhausted including prayer before your stop all dealings with him God bless you in Jesus name Amen
