OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TEENS FRIDAY 4TH MAY 2018: THE ETERNAL BOOK

MEMORISE: And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake
of fire. Revelation 20:15

Please read: Revelation 20:11-15

MESSAGE:
Of all the books of record that ever existed, there is one that is most outstanding. It is about human beings, but it is not on earth. It is a document that contains the names and certain details about everyone who is genuinely saved and washed by the blood of Jesus. Open Heaven 5 March 2018

Since it is not accessible on earth, it cannot be influenced or manipulated.

Human beings record only
information that is accessible to them such as number of births, deaths, marriages, et cetera,
but in the case of the Book of Life, no record escapes the angels in charge.

For now, this book may not appear so important to many, but according to our memory verse for
today, after death, and on the day of judgement, that book will be the most relevant thing ever.

Your fate will be determined by the presence or
absence of your name in the Book of Life. So if there is one book where your name should be written in, it is the Lamb’s Book of Life.

How? By confessing your sins, asking for forgiveness and
accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
After which you live daily by the precepts written
in the Bible.

KEY POINT:
You must begin to do everything possible to have
a relationship with God. If not, after death, you will be sent to hell.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
1 Kings 8-9
Luke 23:39-56

Hymn 7
1. I am Thine 0 Lord, I have heard Thy voice,
And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith
And be closer drawn to Thee.

Chorus
Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord
To the cross where Thou hast died;
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer blessed Lord,
To Thy precious, bleeding side.

2. Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.

3. Oh, the pure delight of a single hour
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God
I commune as friend with friend!

4. There are depths of love that I cannot know
Till I cross the narrow sea;
There are heights of joy that I may not reach
Till I rest in peace with Thee.
