MESSAGE:

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.Galatians 6:8

The world is governed by certain physical laws just as the spiritual world is also ruled by spiritual laws. There are, however, some spiritual laws that have earthly equivalents.

For example, the law of harvest which says that you will reap whatever you sow. This is the same in the spiritual realm as well.

From today’s reading, we are told that there are two soil types that you can sow into – that of the flesh and that of the Spirit. What you become in life is determined by what you sow into.

If you keep sowing into the flesh through worldly music, worldly movies and corrupt conversations, then you will reap worldliness and become a child of the world.

If on the other hand, you sow into the Spirit through Bible study, gospel music and attending Christian fellowships, you will grow spiritually as a child of God.

Those who always sow into the flesh end up in hell while those who sow into the Spirit will end up in heaven. Choose what you sow wisely. It will determine where you will spend eternity.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, help me to always sow into the Spirit and not in the flesh in Jesus’ name.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Exodus 16-18 ; Matthew 19:16-30

Hymn 7

1.Take my life and let it be
Consecrated Lord to thee
Take my moment and days
Let them flow ceaseless praise.

2.Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of thy love
Take my feet and them be
Swift and beautiful for thee

3.Take my voice and let me sing
Always only for my king
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from thee.

4.Take my sliver and my gold
Not a mite would I withhold
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as thou shalt choose.

5.Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall no longer mine:
Take my heart, it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,

6.Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At They feet its treasure store;
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for thee
