MESSAGE:
If you are the apple of God’s eye, you will be required to channel God’s love to those who are hurting, be thy friend or stranger.

This is part of your responsibility, it is an obligation. Being the apple of God’s eye does not start and end with
obligations, there are benefits, rights and privileges that accrue from this relationship with
God.

If you are playing with a friend, the fellow can hit almost any part of your body, but not
your eyes. Anyone who touches your eye is out to provoke you. If you are the apple of God’s eye, whoever touches you touches God, and is
playing with the Consuming Fire.

The Bible tells us that the Lord suffers whenever the apple of His eyes is suffering (Isaiah 63:9).
He does not just show sympathy, He empathizes! Open Heavens 16 January 2018

A man and his eyes are one. If you hurt the eye of an individual, he will feel it throughout his body.

Beloved, God is with you. He feels exactly what you feel. He has a stake in what concerns
you. Remember, He loves you. Amazing Facts About Midnight Prayers

Hymn 10

1. What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Ev’rything to God in prayer.
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Ev’rything to God in prayer!

2. Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a Friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our ev’ry weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

3. Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Saviour, still our refuge,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.
