OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 25 JANUARY 2022 MESSAGE

One area of life the flesh is slamming many of God’s children is sex. Your teenage years have ushered you into moments where your body screams out for you to disobey God but the Bible does not justify sexual sin at all, irrespective of the raging of emotions and hormones.

This is why you must stay away from sin because it could result in grave consequences such as sexually transmitted diseases, unwanted pregnancy, eternal damnation and a broken relationship with God.

In today’s text, Paul admonishes the Christians at Ephesus to stay away from all forms of uncleanness and fornication. Rather, he advised that they should spend more time giving thanks to God.

By inference, when you often give quality time to God, you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh. In order not to fall into the sin of sexual immorality, you need to be mindful of what goes into your heart.

Pray daily, ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you in this battle and don’t put yourself in situations where you would be tempted to fornicate.
