OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 24 APRIL 2023 MESSAGE

To enter God’s presence, you must follow Heaven’s protocol; don’t just crash in. Let your heart and your mouth be filed with thanks for all that God in your life, family and for your loved ones.

When you approach God for your needs, let Him first hear your thanksgiving, follow that with quality praise and worship, and then your requests can come last. Thanksgiving and praises should take more of your time, not your requests. This is also proven in Matthew 8:1-3 when the leper reverenced God first before making his request.

Just like the Yoruba adage says,” If you give thanks for yesterday’s favour, you will receive another one.” When you show gratitude for a kind gesture done to you in the past, you are likely to get another one. It is the same with God; don’t make another request without thanking Him for previous favours (blessings). Always enter His gates with thanksgiving.
