5. Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 22 APRIL 2021 MESSAGE:
Your dressing says a lot about you. Today’s memory verse says one should be clothed in humility. Hence, humility is like a garment. One reason we must wear humility is to receive grace from God; grace is for everyone (Titus 2:11 ) but there is a special grace that only the humble can get from God. James 4:6 says:
“But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble”.
Another reason you must be clothed in humility is to have authority over the devil because he flees when he is resisted by the humble. James 4:7 says:
“Submit yourself therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.
Thus, for you to resist the devil, you need to submit yourself to God. This is what Jesus did when He left His glory in heaven to die on the cross in order to restore the relationship between man and God.
If you find it difficult to listen to advice, greet some people because you feel they are lower in status, respect elders, et cetera, you might be clothed in pride. Examine yourself today.
OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 22 APRIL 2021 KEY POINT: You are either clothed in humility or pride.
HYMN: ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER
1. All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
I surrender all, I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
2. All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow;
Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
3. All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
4. All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame;
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory to His name!
