12. And Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 27 AUGUST 2020 MESSAGE
The Bible says wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding (Proverbs ).
This implies that one of the most important things in life is wisdom.
Human beings including yourself can be complex. To relate with them accordingly, you need divine wisdom.
According to our memory verse of today, David behaved himself wisely and this made Saul who was the king at the time, become afraid of David.
Wisdom will make you know when to talk and when not to, the right words to use and the accurate response to give at every point in time.
When you speak wisely, it will be said of you that you are wise. How do you then get wisdom?.
The Bible refers to Jesus as wisdom. You want to be wise? Have and know Jesus.
And the best way to know Jesus is by studying the word of God.
Thereafter, take deliberate steps to do what the word tells you. In no time, you will be called a wise child.
OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 27 AUGUST 2020 PRAYER POINT
Father, please make me wise.
OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 27 AUGUST 2020 HYMN
WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD
1. When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way,
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
2. Not a shadow can rise,
Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away,
Not a doubt or a fear,
Not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
3. Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay,
Not a grief nor a loss,
Not a frown nor a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.
4. But we never can prove
The delights of His love,
Until all on the altar we lay,
For the favour He shows,
And the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
5. Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way,
What He says we will do,
Where He sends, we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey.
