Devotional Message:
The story was told of two women married to two men who were closely related. The husband of the first woman got a very lucrative job, and within three years, he had built a house for his family of five.
Meanwhile, the husband of the second woman was not gainfully employed; he was just surviving by doing different menial jobs around.
Unfortunately, because of her family’s good fortune, the first woman developed a negative attitude toward the second woman.
The most disheartening aspect of this story is that these two women were worshipping in the same assembly. The rich woman taunted the other woman so much that she almost left her local church.
As God would have it, the husband of the second woman got employed by a company, and six months down the line, the company where his relative worked was liquidated and sold to his new employers.
The management of the buying company was magnanimous enough to absorb the workers of the liquidated company into their workforce, but at lower cadres compared to their initial designations.
So, the husband of the first woman had to manage with a subordinate position in the buying company, and he wasn’t happy when he discovered that he would be an assistant to his relative, and that his salary was 50% less than that of his relative, who was less than 6 months on the job.
The ways of God are past finding out! I pray that this year will end with you laughing last in Jesus Name.
The laughter that is most desirable is the one that comes last, because Ecclesiastes 7:8a says:
“Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof:”
Are you going through a trying period? The word of the Lord comes to you today from John 16:20 as follows:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.”
Are you living your life in wickedness? The Lord is also saying to you today in James 4:8b-10:
“Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
He also says in Matthew 5:4:
“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”
In other words, those who mourn in repentance for their sins and misdeeds will laugh last. Beloved, to be able to laugh last, you need to give your life to Christ today, and you will escape the everlasting agony of an eternity in hell.
Jesus is holding out His arms to welcome you into His kingdom today. Run into His arms and you will discover joy and peace like never before.
Attending mid-week services are important to keep your YOUR FIRE BURNING. SMALL FELLOWSHIP MEETINGS ALSO HELP YOU STRENGTHEN YOUR spirit man against temptations. He helped me to complete a programme I have started several years back, I went through a super major surgery this year and He saw me through and even without a scar. He gave me and my daughter new jobs and promoted my husband of several years of delayed. My last two children passed a comprehensive and GCE exams and above all He provided for our needs all round. Great is thy faithfulness, morning by morning new mercies I see. Thank you Lord for Your grace, loving kindness, mercy and care over me and my family. I bless the name of the Lord for His word that refreshes and strengthens me daily. I pray the Lord will keep me standing and walking in Him in Jesus name.
I thank God for all He has done for me and family from the beginning of the year till now it has been Him all the way. I pray for a better 2020 to have peace in my marriage and restoration for all I’ve lost.
I bless the name of the lord for his mighty move in my family, weeping may endure for a night I lost someone dear to me in the second quarter of the year and God gave a replacement in the last quarter, I thank God for journey mercies,for the house,cars,health and every thing. I want God to use me come 2020,I want to serve him and part with my sinful life,I want God to help me with my masters degree program,good job for my husband,steady promotion for me,his safety for my family,I want my children to love God,I want God to take away anger from my family and fruits of the womb to my friends. I want to thank God for His mighty hand of protection over me and my family. For provision, ministry and my career.
God averted death that should have ended the life of my younger brother.
Some people took over our father’s properties after the death of my father in 1994. My brothers were very small and so my mum was more concerned about feeding the 9children that our father left behind, than to fight for properties.
Last year, our 3rd boy went to reclaim some of the lands against all advise, and I don’t really blame him. But It’s been from one battle to the other, including physical assault and other fetishism from these people. But we held onto God.
Last month, one of them went to burry something on the land so that anytime my brother enters, he will die. But alas, God prevented my brother from entering the land throughout that period. This man went into this same land and was affected by the evil he used his hands to burry. The evil he intended for my family befell him and he died mysteriously. His mother also did not survive.
Because of the things God has been doing and how He’s been fighting for my family, revival has entered our village. The Village Head declared that there’ll be no more masquerades or sacrificing to idols in my home town. The usual annual end of the year celebration in the village was dedicated to prayer of deliverance this year, where the whole village gathered to renounce idols and asked for God’s mercy.
Additionally, they have begged my family to allow them sell those properties and give us the proceeds. This can only be GOD IN ACTION and I know He will finish what He started!
Please praise the Lord with me!
Thank you Jesus for sustainance all through 2019. Protection of me and my family, progress in my post graduate programme, thank you Jesus for healing and good health. Thank you Jesus for my wedding this year, thank you Jesus for the gift you blessed me and husband with. Thank you Jesus for my husband, his health, his business. Thank you Jesus for adding another child to our family. Thank you Jesus for everything.
Dear Lord I pray in 2020 you will reveal more of yourself to me and my husband. Bless us financially and open doors of favour for my husband in his business. Father please bless Sunbliss quality foods and fulfil your word of prophesy concerning our business and my job. Father I believe that before the end of 1st week of April 2020, I shall carry my baby in my arms, I will give birth with no complication or issues. I am thankful for the gift of life, sound body and mind, thankful for my job/business, thankful for my family/friends/loved ones, thankful for all HE’S done and also those HE didn’t do. All of my vital organs are working perfectly I am exceedingly grateful. He chose me as HIS own. I have the gift of salvation, I am thankful. He chose me to be alive not because I am worthy but because HE is too faithful to fail. For journey mercies Lord I am grateful . -Every spirit of lies deposited in my life is uprooted and cast away forever in the name of Jesus. I shall speak the truth always in every situation.
-Grace to seek God and to serve him more than ever, to serve God truthfully I receive in Jesus name in the new year
-My husband will get a better paying job in this New year in Jesus name.
-My children will excel academically, physically and spiritually in Jesus name
-Unprecedented favour in all my endeavours in 2020 in the name of Jesus. Wherever I turn to, God should favour me with His outstretched arms in the name of Jesus.
-Miracle over my WES result, every mistakes that I made in the past will turn to miracle and I shall marvel by the result in the name of Jesus.
-Spirit of excellent will rest upon me in 2020 in Jesus name.
-Every Luke warm spirit is cast out of my life, I will not give-up on God and on myself in 2020 in the mighty name of Jesus.

2019 has been a very difficult year but this gives me reason to thank God in multiplicity. He has remained faithful through every situation.
In 2020 I’m praying for a powerful prayer life, divine health, lifting in business and marriages for our son and daughter who are both 40+.

I am sincerely grateful to God Almighty for his protection over me and my family. We are thankful for his mighty hand over us, preserved us all through 2019. I thank God for a beautiful 2019. For marital settlement and shifting of grounds. I thank God for answered prayers and fulfillment of His word. He took all the glory from the beginning to the end of the year.
In the new year, it shall be a closer walk with God.
