OPENING PRAYER
Father, give me strength to resist temptation

MEMORY VERSE: “For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted”. — HEBREW 2:18

BIBLE PASSAGE: HEBREW 4:14-16

INTRODUCTION
Just as we cannot stop bird from flying over our heads but can stop them from nesting in our hair, so also can we not stop temptation from coming.

However, we need not to accept them or allow them to take a stronghold. The consequence of yielding to temptation can be disastrous whereas resisting it births victory.

Giving in to temptation is a matter of choice .When One renews his/her mind regularly with the Word of God, he/she will be able to resist temptation, by choosing ‘NO’ and affirming his choice with what the Bible says concerning the issue.
