BIBLE TEXT: Daniel 10:11-15
[11]And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
[12]Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
[13]But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
[14]Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
[15]And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.

LESSON OUTLINE ONE
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
1 Thessalonians admonished believers to pray without season. This means to be in constant fellowship with God in the place of prayer which is made possible when our hearts and minds are always focused on the things of God.
Praying without ceasing is a lifestyle of worship, praise and thanksgiving that comes from an understanding of who God is, what God has done, what God is doing and what He is capable of doing in the future on earth and in the lives of men.
When you pray and are able to do the following, they will help to raise the urge to always pray in you:
I. Gratitude-Psalms 110:4.
II. Singing-James 5:13.
III. Bible Study – II Timothy 2:15.
IV. Fellowship-Hebrews 10:25.
V. Make God your friend – James 2:23; John 15:15.

LESSON OUTLINE TWO
BENEFITS OF PERSISTENT PRAYERS
1. It helps to develop a relationship with God – Romans 8:15.
2. It helps to understand God’s love – Psalm 103:13; I John 4:8.
3. It also results in testimonies – I Kings 18:41-46.
4. It gives you strength to avoid temptation -Matt. 26:41; 1 Cor. 10:31.
5. It keeps you holy – Psalm 24:3-4.
