THE MESSAGE
TEXT – MARK 10:46-52
46 And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
48 And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
49 And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
50 And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
51 And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
52 And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.
When Jesus asked Batimaus what he wanted, he said let there be light; open my eyes, i’m tired of darkness, open my eyes so that I will see my way out of poverty.
The garment of suffering will be taken from you today in the name that is above every other name.
Bartimeaus said, send Your light; if you open my eyes, I will see my way out of poverty.
Proverbs 14:12 – There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is the way of death.
Open my eyes so that i can see You (The Way).
John 14:6 – Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the light.
Isaiah 55:8 – God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts.
HOW DO I GET OUT OF POVERTY?
God, open my eyes to see You, the way; if I can see You, I will see my way out of poverty.
Bartimeaus never begged again as soon as his eyes were opened.
Before this year ends, in the name of the One who called me, poverty will become a
stranger to you.
Proverbs 11:24 – Scatter if you want to increase is the way of God.
The way of man is to keep it tight (hold) and it tends to poverty.
Proverbs 11:25 – The liberal soul (open handed) shall be made fat.
Luke 6:38 if you give, you will get. Scatter and be libral.
The way of man says – if you get, you must hold.
Genesis 22:1-88 the greater the sacrifice, the greater the blessing.
Genesis 12:1-3 God promised to bless Abraham.
God sworn to bless Abraham when he made the first fruit sacrifice.
The ways of the Lord and His thoughts are different from the ways and thoughts of man; the more you release the more you get.
2 Corinthians 9:6 – if you sow bountifully, you will reap bountifully.
When the farmer is sowing, he is releasing/buring what he already has into the soil, the greater the sacrifice, the greater the harvest.
1Kings 18:36-38 When the fire of God fell on Mount Carmel, it consumed stones.
The greatest way to be completely free from poverty is for the fire of God to come down and consume hardship.
There are some families that are known for poverty; the elders refers to them as the one from the rocky background.
This month, the fire of God will fall and consume foundation of poverty in your family.
The fire of God will never fall on an empty altar.
The fire of God will fall on a sacrifice placed on an altar, the fire will not fall if the altar is empty.
Romans 12:1 – the Bible says, present your body a living sacrifice, make your entire life a sacrificial giving to God; the Bible says, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, become committed to the work of the kingdom of God and you will be amazed what God will do in return.
Let us make up our minds this year that we are going to serve God so much that He will look down from heaven and swear to bless us because of our commitment to the work of His kingdom.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION
If you have not given your life to Jesus Christ come and surrender your life to Him.
The first thing is to surrender to God; make your life a sacrifice unto God and let a new beginning that will be the beginning of prosperity begin in your life.
There is nothing glorious in poverty and suffering come and surrender your life to the One who can make all things new.
Talk to the Almighty God: Father, please, save my soul, forgive all my sins and i will serve You, receive me into the family of God, and I will serve You for the rest of my life, just forgive my sin.
Let’s stretch our hand to these people and intercede for them that God will give them a new beginning in Jesus Christ, pray that the Almighty God will save their souls and be merciful unto them, intercede for them brethren.
Saviour, we want to give You all glory and honour, we want to bless Your holy name for what You have already done for us in the past, we want to thank You in advance for what You will begin to do from now on, we are thanking You especially for these people that have come forward to surrender their lives to You, please Lord, save their souls today in Jesus’ name, let Your blood wash away their sins, receive them into the family of God, from now on, anytime they cry unto you, answer them by fire and let them serve You till the end, in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.
Lift your offering and pray:
Father, send Your fire and let it consume poverty in my family once and for all.
PRAY TO GOD:
Father, before the end of this month, solve all my problems; let there be light.
My Father and my God, i want to bless Your holy name because I know that You are the
All-sufficient God; You are more than enough to solve the problems of all Your children, answer Your children who have come forward this very day.
Father, destroy whatever is not allowing their joy to be full today.
In Your miraculous way, let there be a new beginning for everyone.
Send Your light, destroy darkness, sickness, poverty, bondage and sorrow.
Please, Lord God Almighty, let there be a new beginning.
Bless the offering of Your children, sanctify it and let every one of us have testimony before the end of this month.
In Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.
Amen.
Let somebody shout Hallelujah.
God bless You.
AMEN!
Thank you Jesus for breaking and destroying the fiunfounda of poverty in my life and home. Amen!
