Let us pray.

Father Almighty, we want to bless Your holy name for this Easter Sunday morning; we give You all the glory and honour because we know You are alive and because You live we can face tomorrow, please, accept our thanks in Jesus’ name.

Lord, in the lives of all Your children i pray that this day will be an Easter Sunday with a difference; an Easter Sunday they will never forget.

Please Lord, have mercy on all our nations and let this crisis be over soon, in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

Let someone shout Hallelujah.

Happy Easter Sunday to you all, the Almighty God who has brought you to this day will continue to be with you in Jesus’ name.

TEXT – Matthew 28:1-7

1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

My God’s not dead, He is alive and in control, if you have any doubt at all, the recent situation should show you clearly that He is in control.

I want to also advise that we should remain on our guards; it will be unwise to relax too soon.

When i say relax, i’m not talking about being anxious, i’m talking about becoming careless. We are not out of the woods yet, we will be out and it won’t be too long.

This thing will be on until God has proved beyond all doubt to the world that He is in charge; until the world has had the compulsory holiday.

I hope you are enjoying your holiday; i’m enjoying mine, it might be a little bit difficult but like somebody said, there are some of us who don’t know how to slow down and God has to apply the break and i can assure you, it has been a wonderful time alone in the presence of the Almighty God, not jumping up and down but just relaxing, knowing fully well that tomorrow will be alright.

I want to assure you, Your tomorrow also will be alright.

When I’m talking about days in this situation, we are not talking about 24 hours because a day is a period; it could last for a few months or a few years.

In the scripture, the bible says that it could even last for a thousand years and at times, it could last more.

The first day of Job for instance, we don’t know how long it lasted. Job 1:1-3, we find a man who had:

7 Sons.

3 Daughters.

7000 Sheep.

3000 Camels.

500 Oxen.

500 she-asses.

A very great household.

The bible called him the greatest in the East and that was during his first day; everything was beautiful.

But then came a night; if you want to read about the night of Job, you can find it in Job 1:13 to Job 2:10. He lost everything; He lost all his children, his wealth, his health and he almost lost his marriage. The night lasted for nine months, thank God it wasn’t too long.

Job 42:10-17

He had 14000 Sheep.

6000 camels.

1000 Oxen.

1000 she-asses.

7 Sons.

3 Daughters.

and the second day lasted for 140 years.

Between every two days there’s always a night.

His first day came when He was born, Luke 2:8-18, the bible tells us that even heavenly mass choir paid a visit to the world to sing glory be to God in the highest, then followed by miracle:

the wedding in Cana of Galilee, John 2:1-11.

the healing, Matthew 8:1-3.

the deliverance, Mark 5:2-20.

failure to success, Luke 5:1-7.

joy, Luke 7:11-15.

There were miracles, signs, wonders, healing, deliverance, success and joy during his first day. His first day lasted for about thirty three and half years.

Matthew 27:45, the sun refused to shine the day He was crucified; there was darkness at noon to signify that one day had ended.

Matthew 26:56, there was loneliness; His disciples abandoned Him.

Matthew 26:69-74, His close friend denied Him with a swear.

Matthew 26:75, there was sorrow, the bible says Peter wept bitterly and there was sorrow all over the land.

There was fear that led to a lockdown. John 20:19, in the house where His disciples were all the doors were shut for the fear of the Jews. The night lasted for three days.

If you are in a period of night, in the name that is above every other name, that night will end today.

Matthew 28:1-7.

Several things happened to herald the new day:

1.There was a great earthquake to signify to all his followers that all yokes are gone now.

Because in Acts 16:25-26 when there was an earthquake like that, the bible tells us everyone’s yoke was loosed.

Therefore, i’m prophesying today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that on this resurrection morning, every yoke left in your life will be destroyed in Jesus’ name.

2. An angel came down; there was an angelic visitation and just one angel is enough to take care of 185 000 soldiers according to 2 Kings 19:35. One soldier dealt with 185 000 soldiers of the enemy, that is good news for you because I’m sure no matter how many your enemies are, they are not up to 100 000 and an angel of the Lord will visit you today and deal with all of them.

3. The angel rolled away the stone

The stone was rolled away. John 11:39-45, when Jesus Christ wanted to bring Lazarus out of the grave, the first thing He commanded was that the stone be rolled away, so, today, in that name that is above every other name, every stone blocking your way to destiny shall be rolled away.

The angel sat on the stone to say anybody who dares can ask me to stand and roll the stone back; he sat on the stone to show permanent victory.

From today onward, every door that God will open to you will remain permanently open.

The keepers – those who are standing there to make sure that the stone will not be rolled away became paralysed by fear, the bible said they were so frightened that they fell down as dead. That is good news for you because as from this resurrection morning, when your enemies see you coming, it’s either they run or faint.

As a matter of fact, if you look at 1 Samuel 17:45-51, the bible tells us that, not only did Goliath die, his head was cut off to signify permanent/irreversible victory.

For all of you my children/children of the living God, from this morning onward, your victory will become irreversible.

Then, the angel announced to all true seekers of God; to all those who came that early Easter Sunday morning the good news, he told them He is alive. Revelation 1:18, the bible says, Jesus Christ said I’m the Alpha, the Omega, the One who was dead and is now alive, He said behold, I am alive for forever.

When i was a lecturer in one of the universities, my colleagues and seniors, highly intellectual; people with tremendous academic achievements were divided into categories anytime i talk to them about Jesus, some of them will say God is dead, some will say, no, He is not dead, may be is true that He created the world as you said, from the little we can see; from science, it requires a great intelligent to put all this things to position but at the end the day, He discovered that what He created was too big for Him, He might not be dead but has lost control.

Some of them who want to be generous will say, whether He’s dead or not I don’t know, lost control or not I don’t know but what I know is that He is in heaven minding His business while I’m on earth minding mine. May i tell all of you, young and old, God’s not dead, How did you know? He spoke to me not too long ago.

He told me that this year, the world will be like a child in convulsion, I didn’t make that up, there is no Mathematical Textbook that you can read that from, i heard from Him; He said the whole world will be on compulsory holiday, that is what Daddy said. When you watch the news and you see great nations where people move around 24 hours a day; cities that never go to sleep are completely deserted because somebody said I want to show these people that I’m in control. Glory be to God.

He’s in control, whether you like it or not, at the name of Jesus, sooner or later, every knee will bow. He said, tell the good news, He’s alive. Colossians 1:27 because this Christ is living in you, you have a hope of glory; you have a glorious tomorrow.

When He rose from the dead, He is actually signifying the time for a new beginning has come for you, a new beginning; a new beginning of miracles, signs and wonders.

Acts 3:1-8, You will see a fisherman making a lame man to walk.

See yourself making the lame to walk very soon.

Acts 16:16-18, A child of God casting out demons, please, see yourself from this morning onward commanding demons to leave and they will obey you.

Acts 19:11-12 You read of the Almighty God saying that He performs special miracles by the hand of Paul All those who are saying, shut your mouth, it is not Jesus in control, pray for them because, very soon, in the name of Jesus Christ that they are blaspheming, they will be performing miracles. Just make sure that when they come, they don’t leave you behind because they are coming.

According to Psalm 30:5, from this resurrection Sunday morning, in the name that’s above every other name, it will be joy for you, your morning of joy has come.

The bible made it clear in John 3:18-21, a sinner can prevent his morning; when God wants to say enough of the night, you have suffered enough, come out of sorrow, sickness and problems, a sinner can say, mind your business. John 3:18-21 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

You don’t have to be one of those who will stay in darkness forever, come into the day, come and surrender your life to Jesus Christ and your resurrection morning will begin.

That is why the bible says, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Everything can become new for you today if you surrender your life to Jesus Christ. This can be one resurrection Sunday morning you will never forget.

So, I’m appealing to those of you, who are yet to surrender to Jesus Christ, even right there in your home today, please, bow your head and surrender to Him, you have suffered enough, come out of darkness, come into life, come into light.

The worst part of it is if you refuse, there is a place where there is no light at all forever, another word for it is hell, if you reject the offer of the Lord Jesus Christ, that will be where you are heading. Come to Jesus Christ, surrender your life to Him, come out of night and come into the day.

Cry to Him: Lord, have mercy on me, save my soul and I will serve You for the rest of my life.

Let us pray for these people: Let’s intercede for them for a minute or two that the One who saved our soul will save their own souls also. Please, call on the Almighty Saviour for all these people, that these resurrection morning might be their own new day; a day that could last forever.

May Father and my God I want to thank You very much for Your word; I want to thank You for this resurrection Sunday morning, I want to thank You for giving us a new beginning, I’m praying Lord God Almighty that the night will be permanently over in our lives, that our days that will last until eternity will begin afresh today.

Give everyone of us a new beginning; a new beginning of joy, success, miracles, signs and wonders.

Lord God Almighty, make us agents of the good news, so that we will tell the whole world that Jesus is alive.

Thank You my Father and my God.

I want to encourage you my beloved children that even after I have left the altar, in your homes, spend time talking to God today, ask Him for a new beginning; a new beginning of everything that is good and glorious.

A new beginning of anointing so that you can serve Him like never before.

A new beginning of consecration and dedication to Him.

A new beginning of divine promotion, progress and a brand new beginning; a day that will never end.

Spend time talking to him and He will grant all your requests.

I want to announce to all ministers and workers that because of the situation in the country, we can’t have our usual ministers and workers conferences, we had to cancel the one in the East and North and even the one in the South here can’t hold.

I have decided to do two tape recordings for all of you which you can watch on Dove Media.

I believe you can probably take the first one on Friday evening, so that you will have plenty of time to relax and listen and take the second one on Saturday because we usually do it for two days.

There are going to be some very serious revelations, so don’t miss them, I believe that God Himself in His infinite wisdom wants to extend what you have been enjoying to the whole world at the same time, don’t miss it, it is actually for the workers and the ministers but since all of you who are not workers are going to become workers anyway, you are welcome to join.
