Let Us Pray

Father, grant me the wisdom to control my tongue so that I do not speak myself into destruction in Jesus’ name.

Lord, help me to listen more and speak only when necessary so that my words will always carry wisdom and grace, in Jesus’ name.

Father, deliver me from every spirit of gossip, idle talk, and unnecessary speech that can ruin my destiny, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, let my words always bring life, healing, and encouragement to those around me, in Jesus’ name.

Father, give me a heart of discernment so that I will know when to speak and when to remain silent, in Jesus’ name.

Let’s Declare

I decree and declare I walk in wisdom and associate only with those who glorify God, in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare that my tongue is controlled by the Holy Spirit, and I will not speak carelessly, in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare I will be slow to speak and quick to listen, operating in divine wisdom at all times, in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare my words will bring life, not destruction; blessings, not curses, in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare I refuse to be a victim of my own words—only words that glorify God will proceed from my mouth, in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare by the power of God, I will use my speech to edify, encourage, and uplift others daily, in Jesus’ name.

To fully benefit from these prayers, you must first accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior by saying this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I come before You today with a broken and contrite heart full of repentance. Please, forgive me for all my sins. Today, I surrender my life to You, I believe that Jesus is Lord and I confess it with my mouth. Jesus, come into my life and save my soul from eternal destruction. In Jesus’ name, I pray. AMEN!
