MESSAGE:

We are allowed to have great expectations because God has given us great promises. Our memory verse elaborates on how much He can do. When you believe in Him, the sky becomes your starting point.

There is nothing to hard for Him to do, however, you need to have faith for your request to be granted. Think about it this way; if you have faith, your desire will be granted, but if you don’t have faith, your request will not be granted, so isn’t better to just have faith.

After all, having faith will coat you nothing.

Sin and faithlessness are the only things that can hinder our expectations from being met by God. When you live a life free of sin and have faith, all your prayers will be answered.

Do you need anything from God? Simply pray and then believe.

PRAYER POINT:
Lord, please give me a heart that believes in you.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Ezekiel 22-23, James 2

Hymn 1
1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!

2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm and changeless be,
A living fire!

3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.

4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then, in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul.
