MESSAGE:

Some time ago, I was to act and my character in that play was supposed to get angry.
I tried everything I could to act angry, but I just couldn’t. The director did everything to get me angry, but it didn’t work.
I had totally forgotten what it was to get angry. That is because I had learnt that anger rests in the bosom of fools and I don’t want to be a fool.
It may be difficult for you to avoid getting angry, but at least don’t let that anger last at all. Dismiss the anger as soon as it comes.
If you let it rest with you, then the Bible says that you are a fool. Ephesians 4:26 says:
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
In that time of anger, you must be in control of yourself to ensure that you don’t commit any sin. The above passage says that though you may be angry, you must not sin.
Anger does not have to control you, you have to control it. In fact, you can defeat it just like I have defeated it. Don’t be a fool
PRAYER POINT
Lord, if there is any root of anger in me, destroy it today in Jesus’ name.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: RUTH 1-4; LUKE 11:29-54
HYMN 7
1.Take my life and let it be
Consecrated Lord to thee
Take my moment and days
Let them flow ceaseless praise.
2.Take my hands and let them move
At the impulse of thy love
Take my feet and them be
Swift and beautiful for thee
3.Take my voice and let me sing
Always only for my king
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from thee.
4.Take my sliver and my gold
Not a mite would I withhold
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as thou shalt choose.
5.Take my will and make it Thine,
It shall no longer mine:
Take my heart, it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
6.Take my love, my Lord, I pour
At They feet its treasure store;
Take myself, and I will be
Ever, only, all for thee
