If you read through the story of the Israelites when they were wandering in the wilderness, trying to find their way to the Promised Land, you will understand this name more.

God indeed protected them from evil. There was a time He went with them in a pillar of fire at night and a cloud of smoke by day.

Also, with strategies from God, the Israelites, who left Egypt as peasants and farmers, fought and won some battles like soldiers.

That God is still the same today.

Some time ago, one of my sons testified that he and his team went on a ‘Let’s Go-A-Fishing’ outreach during Christmas to win souls and fellowship with new converts.

On their way, their vehicle was halted by armed bandits.

When they saw that their lives were in danger, they started praying in tongues, and one after the other, the bandits danced to the vehicle behind them, leaving theirs alone.

I believe that my Daddy started beating a drum in heaven and made the men dance to the beat so that He could shield my sons from untimely death.

You are God’s representative on earth, and He will do everything possible to keep you safe as long as you remain on His side.
