OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 4 APRIL 2020: PRAY WHEN NUDGED

MEMORISE: If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. GALATIANS 5:25
BIBLE READING FOR TODAY: ROMANS 8:11-14
11. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

MESSAGE:

Every now and then, the Holy Spirit nudges us to pray. Unfortunately, many Christians ignore this nudge to their own peril. The Holy Spirit knows exactly what is happening everywhere.
He knows the future too, so when He nudges you to pray, you better pray because failure to pray can result in great danger which could have been averted.
There was a brother who gave his life to Christ on campus. He was a member of the cult before He surrendered to Christ and had decided against all pressures not to go back to the cult.
One day, he had just returned from class where he went to read in the middle of the night.
He was very tired and just wanted to sleep, but the Holy Spirit kept nudging, so, tired as he was, he got up from his bed and was praying.
He has only been praying for a few minutes when a huge demon walked through the wall into the room.
Immediately, he saw the demon, his eyes opened wide and he began to cast the demon out.
The demon then started walking backwards. As the demon was walking backwards, its body touched the leg of his roommate who was sleeping on his own bed.
When he told me the story, I asked if it wasn’t a dream.
He said that he would have thought it was a dream, but in the morning, his roommate leg had swollen up to almost five times it’s normal size.
Thank God, he listened to the Holy Spirit, imagine what would have happened if the demon had met him sleeping and touched his head.
KEY POINT
No matter where you are or what you are doing, when the Holy Spirit nudges you to pray, you better pray
