OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 17 APRIL 2025 BIBLE READING : ECCLESIASTES 12:1
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
Serve God in your youth!
Today’s Confession: I confess today that I will serve the Lord in my youth, and He will establish my future in peace, purpose, and power in Jesus’ name. Somebody shout Hallelujah!
OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 17 APRIL 2025 MESSAGE:
Today’s Bible reading encourages us to serve God in our youth so that we can have a soft landing when turbulent situations come.
Unfortunately, many teenagers still don’t know why they should serve God in their youth.
I can tell you that there were some things I did in my youth that I wish I didn’t do.
I wish I had been more serious with God as a youth, but I’m grateful that He still found me early so that I would not end up in hell.
One of the reasons you should serve God in your youth is that it would set you on the right path and save you from making mistakes that could delay you from achieving your goals.
For instance, a young boy or girl who got imprisoned for a crime would have to stop his or her education for a while, and this can truncate the fellow’s destiny.
Another reason you should serve God in your youth is that you would be preparing yourself to live righteously as an adult.
My dear child, serve the Lord wholeheartedly now that you still have the strength.
OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 17 APRIL 2025 PRAYER POINT:
Father, please help me to serve You with my body, soul, and spirit.
OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 17 APRIL 2025 HYMN 4 –
BE GLAD IN THE LORD AND REJOICE
1 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,
All ye that are upright in heart;
And ye that have made him your choice,
Bid sadness and sorrow depart.
Refrain:
Rejoice, rejoice!
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice!
2 Be joyful, for He is the Lord,
On earth and in heaven supreme;
He fashions and rules by His word;
The Mighty and strong to redeem
3 What though in the conffict for right
Your enemies almost prevail,
God’s armies, just hid from your sight,
Are more than the foes which assail.
4 Though darkness surround you by day,
Your sky by the night be o’ercast,
Let nothing your spirit dismay,
But trust till the danger is past.
5 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,
His praises proclaiming in song;
With harp, and with organ and voice
The loud hallelujahs prolong!
