When Adam and Eve fell into temptation, they almost disrupted God’s plan for mankind. Also, when Gehazi fell, his whole lineage inherited leprosy.
However, when Jesus overcame temptations, it marked the beginning of redemption for the human race.
Tests are not punishments but stepping stones to promotion, allowing God to know your commitment to Him, strength for His work, and appetite for worldly things.
God has promised that He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle; this means that you are still the major determinant of your victory.
Some Christians willingly fall into temptations because they have been nursing sinful thoughts in their hearts.
Beloved, you have the power to overcome your tests and temptations. Ask God to fortify your mind and strengthen your convictions.
