THEME: HOW VALUABLE?
MEMORISE: And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:30
READ: 1 Corinthians 15:13-15
13. But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
MESSAGE:
It is a very good and honourable thing to work for God, however, we must ask ourselves regularly,
“How valuable am I in the kingdom of God?”
When you work for God, but not with all your heart, you are not offering good value to Him. Also Read – Open Heavens 3 September 2019
When your motive for doing God’s work is wrong, it will affect the value that you offer to Him.
Are you a choir member just because you want to show everyone that you are a good singer?
If you are like that, then you will not be singing to bring down the glory of God, rather you will be singing to get applause from the congregation, thereby offering low value to God. Also Read – Daily Declarations 3 September 2019
If you are an instrumentalist who gists outside the church while sermon is going on, you are not offering good value to God.
The spiritual quality of your playing the instruments is dependent on the spiritual food that you consume.
Don’t serve Him with an ulterior motive, rather, serve Him with all your heart.

Examine your motives to see if you are offering valuable service to God.
