To get God’s best, you must be prepared to disassociate physical senses and activate faith. Like your physical senses, you have spiritual senses.
Spiritual senses operate by faith in God and His word. By faith, it is possible to see the invisible. In Hebrews 11:27, through the eyes of faith Moses saw the invisible God. You can also see into your future with the eyes of faith.
If your spiritual eyes are open, you will no longer be afraid of the visible and invisible forces of darkness.
For instance, when the Syrian army came to arrest Elisha, his servant was so afraid, but Elisha asked God to open the eyes of his servant and he was able to see the chariots of fire that surrounded them outnumbered the Syrian army.
What are you afraid of? He that is in you is greater than that thing.
Talking about senses, you can hear from God audibly. To do this, you need to be a good listener.
You should be able to wait on Him and hear Him speak to you (Psalm 85:8). You must also be ready to do whatever He says to you, because if you don’t obey Him, He will stop talking to you
KEY POINT:
When your spiritual senses are alert, you will control both the spiritual and physical.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Obadiah 1 ; Revelation 8
Hymn 14
1. O spread the tidings ’round,
Wherever man is found,
Wherever human hearts and
Human woes abound.
Let every Christian tongue
Proclaim the joyful sound:
The Comforter has come!
Chorus:
The Comforter has come!
The Comforter has come!
The Holy Ghost from heav’n,
The Father’s Promise giv’n,
O spread the tidings ’round,
Wherever man is found:
The Comforter has come!
2. The long, long night is past;
The morning breaks at last;
And hushed the dreadful wail
And fury of the blast,
As o’er the golden hills
The day advances fast!
The Comforter has come!
3. Lo, the great Kings of Kings,
With healing in His wings,
To every captive soul a full
Deliv’rance brings;
And thro’ the vacant cells
The song of triumph rings;
The Comforter has come!
4. O boundless love divine!
How shall this tongue of mine
To wond’ring mortals tell
The matchless grace divine-
That I, a child of hell,
Should in His image shine?
The Comforter has come!
