OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TEENS 9 MARCH 2019 – GOD OR MEDICAL REPORT

MEMORISE: For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. Psalm 33:9

Read: Psalm 33:8-9

8Let all the earth fear the Lord [revere and worship Him]; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

9For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

MESSAGE:

God’s word has integrity. What He says He will do, His word is Him in action. He does amazing things to His children particularly to the ones who call on Him in faith. There is the testimony of a child who was born with sickle cell anaemia.

He lived that way for years, then one day he had an attack and cried out to God. He prayed with all his heart and went to the hospital, he got to the hospital and a test was conducted, then he discovered that his genotype had changed from SS to AA, this is what God can do. It is sad that today, majority of God’s children believe what the doctors say over what God says. His word says by Jesus’ stripes you were healed (Isaiah 53:5). Why can’t you believe? Although sometimes, the symptoms may persist even after praying for healing.

It is then that you should increase in faith and decree God’s word because God can never lie. Jesus was not bruised for nothing sake, He was bruised for you not to be bruised. So rather than look at the symptoms or the medical report, look unto God and decree your healing.

KEY POINT:
Speak healing rather than symptoms of that sickness from today.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Deuteronomy 8-10
Mark 12:28-44

Hymn 1
1. My faith looks up to Thee,
Thou Lamb of Calvary,
Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
Be wholly Thine!

2. May Thy rich grace impart
Strength to my fainting heart,
My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
Pure, warm and changeless be,
A living fire!

3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
And griefs around me spread,
Be Thou my guide;
Bid darkness turn to day,
Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
Nor let me ever stray
From Thee aside.

4. When ends life’s transient dream,
When death’s cold sullen stream
Shall o’er me roll;
Blest Savior, then, in love,
Fear and distrust remove;
Oh, bear me safe above,
A ransomed soul.
