OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 7 DECEMBER 2022 BIBLE READING 1 TIMOTHY 1:11-17

11. According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

12. And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

13. Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

15. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

16. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

17, Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 7 DECEMBER 2022 MESSAGE

When the creation story began in Genesis 1, it was a pleasant story. Genesis 1:1-3 says: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3. And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.”

Beautiful story! Then man fell from grace to grass and the story changed. Man began to wallow in pain, sorrow, hardship and worst of all, separation from the Creator. Genesis 3:23 says: “Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.”

However, the story took a positive turn when Jesus came into the scene. He died, resurrected and bought us pardon. Through Him, we are reconciled to God. If your story is still ugly, it can change today; just allow Jesus to come into your life and He will turn it around for good.
