It is wrongly assumed that the youngest child of every family is over-pampered. Well, I didn’t have that luxury as the last child of my father. In those days, my father was regarded as the poorest in the village but he worked so hard to ensure that I had a good education.

He also taught his children the value of hard work. God created us to work. He Himself got His hands dirty when He made Adam out of the dust of the ground and placed him in the Garden of Eden to work.

Genesis 2:15 says: “And the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”

The first task Adam had was to name all the animals. If you watch animal documentaries, you will understand the magnitude of the work Adam did.

He named all the animals both on land and in water including all the insects in the world. He did not delegate his duties to Eve. Therefore, you don’t have any excuse.

From today, discard laziness and the assigning of your responsibilities to your siblings or colleagues, so that you can become competent and perfect.
