MESSAGE:

Today, we will consider a different aspect of defilement. Some people claim to be undefiled, yet, they engage in sexual acts other than s*x itself. One of such acts is masturbatio*.

Some people are of the opinion that it was not mentioned in the Bible, therefore, it is not wrong. My child, masturbatio* is an ungodly act that should not be practised by any true child of God.

Can anyone boldly put his or her bed in an open space and masturbate? No, instead, it is done in secret when nobody is watching. Anything done in secret is darkness and sinful.

In fact, the Bible says woe unto them who do things in the dark (Isaiah 29:15). Another reason is those who masturbat* do it while having s*xual fantasies which are usually as a result of watching pornography. Should a child of God watch pornography? No (Psalm 101:3).

In addition, masturbatio* brings guilt. There is usually this guilty feeling that immediately robs those who do it of their peace after the act. If it is right, why feel guilty? To be undefiled is to be pure within and without. Shun this ungodly act. Be pure.

PRAYER POINT: Father, help me to be pure within and without.
