THEME: DANGERS OF FORNICATION

MEMORISE: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, 1 Corinthians 6:9a

[58]If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

[59]Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

[60]Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

[61]Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

MESSAGE:

Yesterday. we talked about how anyone who fornicates can incur the wrath of God. Our God is a jealous God, He does not joke with what belongs to Him. Hence, anyone who mishandles whatever is His will have himself or herself to blame. Apart from incurring God’s wrath, there are other dangers in fornication.

There are a lot of Sexually Transmitted
Diseases (STDs) such as gonorrhoea, HIV/AIDS, syphilis et cetera in the world now. Sometimes, I feel these diseases are canes in the hand of the devil to be used on the disobedient children.

If you don’t want to be flogged by the devil, stay away from fornication. Fornication takes away your peace and put you amongst the dead (Proverbs 9:17&18).

There is also a spiritual undertone in sex. When a fellow has sex with another, there is an exchange of spirits. This explains why some people behave in a strange manner without knowing the cause.

Are you fornicating with anyone? Are you a fellowship leader in the higher institution having sex with someone you are not married to? You’d better change today.
