10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

MESSAGE

In the sixties, during the Nigerian civil war, I heard that one of the generals was leading his men to fight at a time the battle was very hot. Discouraged, some of them retreated.

The general gave orders to the soldiers with him to shoot and kill the retreating soldiers before they demoralized their colleagues. It is of common knowledge that quitters don’t win, and winners don’t quit.

One of the major reasons people get discouraged and quit is fear. But the Bible says you have been given the spirit of boldness. As a child of God, you have absolutely nothing to fear.

Your Father is the person in charge of the entire affairs of the whole universe. If you are in His good books, don’t you see that you have nothing to fear?.

Even if things seem to be very bad, so long as you live holy, it is only a matter of time, you will realize that everything is actually working together for your good.

The devil knows that everything you need can be yours only if you will reach out to get it. So he intentionally sends fear and discouraging situations to keep you inactive and dormant.

PRAYER POINT

Be wise. Don’t quit no matter what the situation is.
