OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 DECEMBER 2020 BIBLE READING John 6:63

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 DECEMBER 2020 MESSAGE

The word of God is a manual. It is the best gift a Christian has after salvation.

It was inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16) to instruct, guide and direct (2 Timothy 4:16).

Everything you need to grow in faith is written in the Bible.

The Bible shows you who God is and answers questions about how God operates and what God says about many issues (John 1:1-2, John 4:24).

When you study the word, you get divine direction on how to live as a Christian teenager and how to stay away from sin (Psalms 119:10; Psalms 119:11).

The word of God is sufficient for all your needs.

It gives you courage and strength in times of fear, trouble and doubt (Joshua 1:8-9).

It is available to remind you of Gods beautiful promises, whenever your heart is weary.

When you read your Bible, be careful not to be religious about it, instead, read it prayerfully and in faith. Meditate on it.

Rely on the Holy Spirit to teach you and help you to understand it and you will be amazed at the revelations you will keep receiving from Him.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 11 DECEMBER 2020 HYMN

PASS ME NOT, O GENTLE SAVIOUR

1. Pass me not, O gentle Saviour,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

CHORUS
Saviour, Saviour,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.

2. Let me at Thy throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief;
Kneeling there in deep contrition,
Help my unbelief.

3. Trusting only in Thy merit,
Would I seek Thy face;
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by thy grace.

4. Thou the spring of all my comfort,
More than life to me,
Whom have lon earth beside Thee?
Whom in heaven but Thee?
