OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 10 DECEMBER 2022 MESSAGE

The meaning of Jacob can be interpreted T as a supplanter, usurper, deceiver or impersonator and he lived this name until he had an encounter with God who changed his name to Israel, which means triumphant with God. This change had a great effect on his life in every ramification. He stopped exhibiting the characteristics of his former name and started acting in line with his new name.

You see, what happened to Jacob in the Old Testament is what happens when someone accepts Jesus as his Lord and Saviour. A change occurs in the fellows life and there is a turnaround so the fellow has a divine nature which is brought about by the Spirit of God. This change is evident in the fellows behaviour and lifestyle generally.

Therefore, it is funny to see a child of God who claims to have accepted Jesus, behave like one who does not know Christ. The evidence of salvation is change. When I gave my life to Christ, everything about me changed, including my circle of friends. I became better as I gave myself more to the word of God. Anyone that has encountered Christ will experience a change from within that would become evident for all to see.
