OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 1 SEPTEMBER 2020 BIBLE READING 2 KINGS 7:8-11
8. And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.
9. Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household.
10. So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were.
11. And he called the porters; and they told it to the king’s house within.

OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 1 SEPTEMBER 2020 MESSAGE
The story in our Bible text for today is an interesting one.
Lepers live at the outskirt of towns for obvious reasons and are not allowed into the town for any reason.
But these four lepers at the gate of Samaria took their lives into their hands and went into the camp of their enemies.
On their arrival, they found no one but food, silver, gold and clothes.
They had their fill and took the news to others in the town.God works in mysterious ways.
No one would expect that a whole camp of the enemies could be loaded with such goodies.
The most important lesson to be learnt from this story however, is share the good news.
Even the lepers in this story knew that it would be wrong for them to keep the news to themselves.
They risked their lives and went into the town to inform the people of the deserted camp loaded with goodies.
And it was a day of good news. Determine to tell the good news daily. What is the good news?.
The good news is that Jesus Christ came to world to die for mankind and save us from sin and the consequences of sin.
If you have tasted salvation, let others have a taste of it too.

WONDERFUL STORY OF LOVE
1. Wonderful story of love;
Tell it to me again;
Wonderful story of love;
Wake the immortal strain!
Angles with rapture announce It,
Shepherds with wonder receive it;
Sinner, oh, won’t you believe it?
Wonderful story of love.
CHORUS:
Wonderful! Wonderful!
Wonderful, Wonderful story of love.
2. Wonderful story of love;
Through you are far away;
Wonderful story of love;
Still He doth call today;
Calling from Calvary’s Mountain,
Down from the crystal-bright fountain,
E’en from the dawn of creation,
Wonderful story of love.
3. Wonderful story of love;
Jesus provides a rest;
Wonderful story of love;
For all the pure and blest,
Rest in those mansions above us,
With those who’ve gone on before us,
Singing the rapturous chorus,
Wonderful story of love.
