OPEN HEAVEN FOR TEENS 1 MARCH 2021 MESSAGE
In our Bible text for today, Jesus introduced Himself as the Vine.
If you read through the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), you will discover that Jesus introduced Himself as different things at different times.
He once said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). He also said He is the Door (John 10:9) et cetera.
Jesus knows who He is and He lived what He claimed to be.
lt is sad that people claim to be children of God these days, yet, they do not look like God in any way.
For instance, Jesus said He is the true Vine and we are the branches.
Should there be any difference between the branch and the vine? No, except in size.
But some children of God are far from Jesus.
If for instance you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, you lie, gossip, fight, keep grudges et cetera, you do not look like your Heavenly Father.
However, you can look like Jesus when you study the word of God, spend time to pray and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
