As Christians, we know the role of prayer in our everyday life.

It is our direct communication line to God.

There is something unique and powerful about midnight prayers.

Midnight is a time of power and spiritual activity. Acts 16:25-26 tells us that at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns to God, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, and the prison doors were opened.

There is great power in midnight prayers.

As a spiritual team, we have seen the tremendous impact of midnight prayers on our lives and this community of awesome believers at large.

Prepare Your Heart: A prepared heart easily accommodate opportunities. Before you pray, make sure you prepare your heart to praise and receive from God. Repent of any sin and ask God for forgiveness. Invite the Holy Spirit to come and guide you in your midnight prayers.

Rest During The Day: Take a nap or rest enough during the day, so that you would be much awake by midnight. You don’t want to be talking to God with a sleepy face. Also, you can tell a loved one to keep you accountable. They can call or check up on you.

Pray With Expectation: Believe that God will answer your midnight prayers. The Bible tells us in Matthew 21:22, that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive.

Pray With Scriptures: The Word of God is powerful. Hebrews 4:12 says it’s like a two-edged sword. Use scriptures to pray, especially at midnight. Find relevant verses that relate to your situation/challenge and pray them back to God. We’ll keep updating this community with scriptures relevant to specific situations.

Pray in tongues: Speaking in tongues is a powerful tool in the hand of every believer. It’s a spiritual language that the Holy Spirit gives to believers. When you pray in tongues Romans 8:26-27 tells us that, you are praying in the Spirit, and the Holy Spirit helps you to pray according to the will of God.

Pray with perseverance: Don’t give up on your midnight prayers. Keep praying until you receive an answer. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray without ceasing. Keep praying until you receive your breakthrough.

Pray in the name of Jesus: The name of Jesus is powerful. It is by His name that we have access to the Father. Therefore, always pray in the name of Jesus.
