From the Bible reading for today, we can see that God wants His children to pray without having a break. This is possible only if you see prayer as communicating with God as a Father and a Friend.

Many people think that it is difficult to pray for an hour. Some have even asked me how it is possible to pray throughout the day. Well, it is very easy.

Start by praising God with spiritual songs and hymns. Praise Him in words, thinking of all His benefits and blessings in times past and mention them one after the other.

Thank Him for every member of your family; mention their names one after the other and thank Him for the times He healed or saved them from evil.

Thereafter, ask Him for forgiveness and mercy, then table your requests. Before you know it, you will have spent an hour praying.
